Casey Lalonde. This songwriter from Minnesota has come a long way since he released Beware! from which this song is taken. The second half of this album is composed of heartfelt pieces that could have been a list of letters sent to someone gone. This particular song ends with “I guess this is our happy ending”. This phrase, along with quasi-maudlin instrumentation creates something truly sentimental in the scene of car accident.
